Dr. Vivian Dupont is a clinical psychologist with expertise in psychotherapy, assessment and testing. She provides the following services in English and French:
- Individual short-term and long-term general psychotherapy (for self-esteem issues, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, burnout, long-term effects of trauma, etc.)
- Assessment of emotional, cognitive and behavioural functioning (stress, burnout, etc.)
- She treats an adult clientele.
Dr. Dupont’s orientation is eclectic and involves the use of techniques borrowed from cognitive-behavioural, dynamic, humanistic and experiential approaches.

Dr. Vivian Dupont has been a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario (COPO) since 1998. She earned her B.A. in Psychology (Honours) and M. Ed. (Counselling) at McGill University, as well as her M.A. and Ph.D. (Clinical Psychology) at the University of Ottawa.
She has employment experience in a number of organizations, including a hospital, a university, a medical clinic, a private practice, as well as school boards.
Beside her work in clinical contexts, Dr. Vivian Dupont has also been involved in consultation to other professionals, supervision and teaching.
Dr. Vivian Dupont has been in private practice for 25 years, and acts as a consultant for the University of Ottawa Health Services, the Canadian Armed Forces, the Veterans Affairs Canada, the City of Ottawa, the WSIB, many insurance companies and Legal Aid Societies in Ottawa.
